How this works
I’m not totally sure what this site is yet. Somewhere between a journal and a digital presence. A place to put things I’m thinking about before they disappear.
The honest answer for why: partly to write things down, partly so that if someone meets me in real life and my website comes up, they can actually learn something about who I am. Not a resume. Just me.
How I’m writing this
I’m writing it with Claude.
Not in the “I typed a prompt and published the output” way — more like: I talk through an idea, Claude asks questions, I answer, and something takes shape. I tweak it. Sometimes I push back. Sometimes I don’t push back enough and it sounds a little too polished, a little too not-me.
The ideas are mine. The connections, the observations, the things I’m actually thinking about — those come from me. Claude helps me get them out of my head and onto the page. It’s collaborative in the same way talking through an idea with a friend is collaborative. You still said the thing. You just had help finding the words.
I feel okay about this. And also a little uncomfortable. And also kind of proud of it. All of the above, honestly.
Why say this at all
Because the posts on this site are about being honest — about vibecoding, about not fully knowing what I’m building, about figuring things out as I go. It would be weird to be precious about this part.
Also because I think a lot of people are writing this way now and nobody’s really talking about it. Maybe this is just what writing looks like now. I don’t know yet.
I’m figuring it out. That’s kind of the whole point.
